Armed response unit seen rushing through Aylesbury town centre

A large police presence has been spotted in Aylesbury this morning.

An eye witness account reported a heavy police presence heading through town along the Buckingham Road at about 11.15 this morning.

They said: "I have just seen two BMW X5 full with what looked like armed officers inside.

"This was followed by a huge police van with blacked out windows being escorted by two other unmarked BMW X5s.

"This was followed by several other police cars a bit later.

"It looked really serious, I hope nobody has been injured."

Thames Valley Police have been approached for comment.
