A CHANCE to find out more about the Bicester Air Cadets is on offer at an open day being held in the town later this month.

Anyone interested can go along to DE&S Caversfield on Skimmingdish Lane on Thursday, July 30 at 6.45pm to find out about all the exciting activites which cadets take part in during the year, including flying, gliding, parachuting, climbing, shooting, adventure training and overseas camps.

Cadets also take part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, and have been on visits to operational RAF stations and taken part in competitive sports.

To find out more about the Bicester 2507 Squadron, which caters for boys and girls aged between 13 and 17, contact recruitment officer Stephen Crisp on 01869 249416 or email scrisp@bicester-atc.co.uk.
