TRADERS from Bicester discussed the future of the town at a retail conference organised by Bicester Vision.

More than 140 people attended the event, hosted by Wyevale Garden Centre, which was organised to enable traders to meet and find out more about the future plans for the town, as well as discussing ways to ensure the town continues to thrive.

Delegates were also given an update on the town centre redevelopment scheme.

Organiser Rachel Faulkner, Bicester Vision's partnership manager, said: "It was great to see so many of Bicester's traders gather to talk about the future of the town.

"As we expected, many of the business owners wanted to know about the development plans
"But there was also a chance to talk about ways in which companies can work together now to keep our town thriving."
A number of presentations were also given, which provided information and advice for traders during the credit crunch.
