THE Oxon County Council election results for the Advertiser and Review region have been announced.
County councillors for the Bicester and Bicester South wards have been returned to their seats in an election which has so far been dominated by the Conservative Party.

A total of 17, 152 votes were cast in Bicester, with a turnout of 30 per cent
while in Bicester South, 2,176 votes were cast, a turnout of around 36 per cent.

BICESTER - Norman Bolster (Con), 3,349; Michael Waine (Con), 3,260; Lawrie Stratford (Con), 3,117; Les Sibley (Lab), 1,669; Martin Chadwick (Lib Dem), 911; John Broad (Lab), 871; Alan Hasted (Lab), 821; Steve Creed (Lib Dem), 804; Bruce Shakespeare (Lib Dem), 760; Liz Taylor (Green), 585; Kevin Meaney (Green), 526; Richard Pantlin (Green), 479.

BICESTER SOUTH - Charles Shouler (Con), 1,375; Neil Walton, (Lib Dem), 436; Cliff Duffield (Green), 216; Mary Lynch (Lab), 149.

OTMOOR AND KIRTLINGTON - Tim Hallchurch (Con), 1,215; Susan Cooper, (Lib Dem), 364; Dickie Bird, (UKIP), 263; Caroline Willson, (Green), 250; Andrew Hornsby-Smith (Lab), 199.

DEDDINGTON - Ray Jelf (Con), 1,946; Dick Makepeace (Lib Dem), 640; Lucy Ford (Green), 401; Joseph Manners (Lab), 164

PLOUGHLEY - Catherine Fulljames (Con) 1,576; Liz Yardley (Lib Dem), 308; Barbara Fairweather (UKIP), 281; Kate Prendergast (Green) 173; John Darbyshire (Lab) 135.
