THE second Brackley's Got Talent competition will be held over the August bank holiday weekend, it has been announced.
The fundraising event, arranged by Brackley businessman Josh Jenner, will be held at Brackley Leisure Centre on Sunday, August 24, and aims to beat last year's total of £1,500.

Nominated charities are the Brackley YMCA, in memory of local man Lee Grimshaw, who was one of four teenagers who died in a car accident in Westbury on June 1, and the Katharine House Hospice in Adderbury.

Solo acts, duos and groups have all been invited to display skills such as singing, dancing, juggling, comedy routines or magic tricks, and finalists will win cash prizes. Sets will be three to four minutes in length, and there are separate categories for under-12s and over-12s.

A family disco and big prize raffle will also be on offer. Auditions were held in Brackley Leisure Centre last week and earlier this week.
