FIRE crews in Northants were called to around 35 incidents of flooding in Northampton and the south of the county over Saturday night.
Calls came in after heavy rain lashed the region on Friday and Saturday.
Requests for help were mostly from residents in the eastern district of Northampton, a few in the town centre and some in the Towcester area.
A spokesperson said: "There were 12 incidents where the Fire Service were unable to to give assistance and at the remainder of the incidents we gave assistance by pumping out and by giving verbal advice."
Residents in Silverstone had prepared against flooding by putting sandbags against doorways.
In Syresham, fire crews used pumps to divert flood water.
The River Great Ouse and its tributaries, including the River Tove through Towcester, remain on the Environment Agency's flood risk list.
Residents south of Bicester in the River Ray catchment area are also keeping an eye on river levels as the EA's Flood Watch notice remains in place.
