PEOPLE may have a shorter time to wait for housing in south Northants thanks to a £3million grant for affordable housing.
South Northants Council recently announced the £3,119,000 award from the Government's Housing Corporation to pay for the construction of 96 homes, some of which will be built along with planned developments for Deanshanger and Grange Park.

The grant will also pay for specialist housing in Brackley for adults with learning difficulties.

SNC is now working with parish councils to find out where housing is needed most.

The Housing Corporation is a government agency tasked with supporting the construction of 47,000 new affordable homes across the country.
