A JOURNEY of 25,000 miles tracing old school friends was the foundation of a Buckingham author's first book – An Ethiopian Odyssey.
Inspired by a dream she had in April 2000, Annette Allen, 54, has published the book to help raise funds for clean water and sanitation projects in Ethiopia.
The 270-page memoir is a story about her journey to find nine classmates from Nazareth School for Girls, a Catholic convent school in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia's capital, and learn what had happened to them in the intervening 40 years since she last saw them in July 1964.
