BLIND and partially sighted artists sold around £375 worth of artwork during an exhibition in Buckingham Community Centre last weekend.
Over 12 months, 12 members of the Bucks Association for Blind and Partially Sighted People north west division produced 48 pieces of 12ins X 12ins work for the exhibition.

Two large pieces were made up of work from all 12 artists.

Proceeds were split 50/50 between the artists themselves and the association's Buckingham Craft Club which meets on two Tuesday mornings every month at the Well Street Centre.

Philippa Atkinson, north west division secretary, thanked all the local businesses which donated waste material to be used at the clubs, including Buckingham Colour Quest, Wipac and Focus Do it All.

Mrs Atkinson added: "I am amazed at what the artists produce, they have some phenomenal tutors who are full of ideas and inspiration."

Anybody interested in the association and its work can contact 01296 487556.
