A SEA of bluebells is blooming, carpeting a popular woodland area.
Bucknell Wood near Abthorpe is alive with colour at the moment with the vibrant flowers stretching almost as far as the eye can see.

Abthorpe resident John Riches, who has highlighted the beauty of the woodland spot, is alerting any would-be visitors to get their skates – or wellies – on to avoid missing the show.

This picture was taken by Advertiser & Review chief photographer Jake McNulty, just off the Banbury Lane, but Mr Riches says the display will be over in a matter of days as the flowers will be past their best.
