A BRACKLEY woman is in a stable condition in hospital after an accident on the A422 near Shalstone yesterday afternoon, Wednesday, August 27.
Thames Valley Police said the 52-year-old woman's silver Vauxhall Corsa, left the road near the Shalstone turning at around 3.30pm and came to rest in a ditch.
Fire crews from Buckingham and Winslow had to remove the car's roof to free the woman, and she was airlifted to the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford suffering broken arms, broken hands and a broken hip.
The road was closed until around 8.15pm. No other vehicles are thought to have been involved, and no further injuries were reported.
