THAMES Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance has received more than £600 following fundraising efforts in Tingewick.
The Tingewick Women's Friendship Guild, which closed in March this year, had raised a total of £612.46 for the air ambulance, which it presented to Tony Franklin on April 25.

The money was raised through a number of events run by the guild throughout the year.

Former Guild chairperson, Rosemary Stuchbury, will be continuing her fundraising efforts on May 10 with a coffee morning in Tingewick Village Hall, 10am to noon, in aid of the Renal Ward at Churchill Hospital in Oxford.

She will also be selling patchwork cushions and quilts and the first 20 people through the door will receive a free bag. Mrs Stuchbury said: "This hospital helped my late husband, so I'd like to be able to give them something back from this coffee morning."
