IT is hotter than Majorca in the Advertiser and Review region with temperatures nudging 30degC.

As holidaymakers in the Balearics enjoyed temperatures of around 26degC the region sizzled in heat of around 29degC.

Sunkissed Chandos Park in Buckingham was one of the places where people enjoyed the sun with Sophie Coade from Winslow and Molly Woodrow from Nash tucking into some fresh strawberries.

But while the summer heat may be good news for many, the Department of Health has issued a warning and aksed people to make sure their elderly friends and relatives are well looked after.

People are advised to keep their homes as cool and to make sure they drink cool drinks and avoid hot drinks such as tea and coffee.

How have you been enjoying the sun? Send your photos to the Advertiser and Review by clicking here
