AN afternoon of quality live music can be enjoyed at a charity album launch in Buckingham on Saturday, July 5.
The event, dubbed Songs for Souls II, is a repeat of a successful event held earlier this year.
The first Songs for Souls evening held in Buckingham's Britannia Inn in

January raised almost £1,000 for The Macmillan Cancer Trust.
Guests enjoyed
a night of acoustic sets from performers including Dan Buckland and Matt Banham from The Swamis and Luke Ford of Fordy and the Failures.

Songs for Souls II will be held at Buckingham Town Football Club in Ford Street.
Organiser Kieran Jones said the event will kick off at 5pm with a barbecue and an outdoor acoustic open mic session.

Acoustic performers are due to include Luke Ford, Duncan Whittaker, and Dave Cattermole.

Main acts, who will appear on the new album, will play indoors from 8pm. These include local boys The Swamis and The Cantells, hip-hop group True Elements from Milton Keynes, and critically-acclaimed musician Jono McCleery from London.

Other acts featured on the 12-track album, but not playing on the night, include Buckingham-area band The Red Bullets and Peter Parker from Milton Keynes.

Tickets are £5, and are available from the Britannia Inn in Gawcott Road, Buckingham, and from Arms of Angels in Meadow Walk, Buckingham.
