A NEW May King and Queen were crowned in a special event at Maids Moreton Primary School.
Imogen Willmott and Thomas Carver were elected by pupils at the school and crowned by last year's king and queen, Isabella Festa and Clark Middleton, who returned to their former school for the big day on Friday last week.

After the crowning ceremony, pupils from Year Two performed three dances around the maypole, before the whole school took part in some country dancing.

Headteacher Tricia Ainsworth said: "It is a long-standing event at Maids Moreton. The new King and Queen were very proud – it is always an honour."
