A record 50 athletes took part in the 10-mile event, which was two laps of the five-mile fun run course. Starting in Thornborough, the course led to Thornton via Nash and back again.
Jane Preen of the Marshal Milton Keynes Athletic Club came first in the ten-mile race crossing the line in 61mins 16secs. She beat team mate Neil Ovington, who came second, and Tim Kelly from Aylesbury who has been the 10-mile race champion for the last four years.
Imogen Thornburgh, from Wellingborough, came first in the fun run, with a time of 31mins 31secs. She beat David Glossy and his one-year-old son Colby, who crossed the line asleep in his pushchair.
Organiser Bernard Garbe said the fun run attracted 200 participants, and he thanked all those who volunteered as marshals or water station attendants during the day.
