Snow made a return to the Advertiser and Review region last night, Thursday.
The region was hit by snow overnight, receiving several centimetres in places.
Motorists are being asked to take care on the icy roads although the snow is expected to clear by this afternoon.
The Met Office is expecting a clear weekend although other sources are expecting sleet showers tomorrow, Saturday. There may be some risk of snow on Monday, February 22.
