STUDENTS from five local schools showed their artistic talents when an art exhibition was held at the University of Buckingham.
Examination work by students from Akeley Wood Senior School, Buckingham School, The Royal Latin School, Thornton College and Shenley Brook End School, in Milton Keynes, was on display at a public exhibition over five days at the end of last month.

An official opening was held on September 24 by art expert Anthony Green, from the Royal Academy of Art.

Steve Heywood, from the Rotary Club of Buckingham, which organised the event, said the standard of work on display was very high.

He said: "We received positive comments in the visitors' book including one person who said it was so good they came back twice. It is good to see so much talent in Buckingham. It was very successful."

This is the fifth year the club has run the event.
