TEENAGERS from St Bernadine's Youth Group in Buckingham enjoyed a successful weekend in Snowdonia last month.
A party of 21 young people, led by Hannah Baldwin and Julia Hough, arrived at Snowdonia's Ranch in Llanbedr on April 4 and spent the weekend taking part in a team challenge course, an archery challenge and a game of football.

Hannah said: "From the leader's point of view one of our primary objectives was to encourage team building and friendships.

"On the Saturday members took part in a team challenge course.
"This involved zip wire games, a hill roll, getting over a huge scramble net, and a balancing beam course over muddy marsh ground, which left everyone plastered in mud!

"This was followed by crawling through a tunnel filled with wood chip after which everyone looked like chocolate doughnuts rolled in sugar."
The group also explored a waterfall where, according to legend, King Arthur threw his sword, Excalibur.

Planning for next year's event has already started.
