FLOOD Warnings have been lifted for the River Great Ouse between Brackley, Buckingham and Old Stratford.
The River Cherwell from Charwelton to Oxford and its tributaries including the Sor and Bloxham Brooks, is still on Flood Watch today, Wednesday, as is the River Ray from Shipton Lee to Islip and its tributaries.

River levels rose after torrential rain, falling on already saturated land, swept across the region on Saturday evening and into Sunday morning.

A fire crew was called to Dadford at about 4.15pm on Saturday to deal with flooding affecting electrics at a property in North Hill. Some flash flooding was reported across Northants, with standing water reported on roads including those in Stoke Bruerne and Blisworth on Sunday morning.

On Saturday, The Environment Agency issued Flood Warnings on the River Great Ouse section from Brackley to Thornborough, via Westbury, Water Stratford, Tingewick, Radclive and Buckingham, and from Thornborough to Newport Pagnell, via Thornton, Beachampton, New Bradwell, Passenham and Old Stratford. These were lifted on Tuesday (18/03).

For the latest warnings in place, and for advice, check the Environment Agency website at http://www.environment-agency.gov.uk/subjects/flood/ or call Floodline on 0845 988 1188 for more information.
