A CHARITY ball was held on June 28 in Buckingham's Old Town Hall, raising £4,746.
The ball was in aid of Ali's Dream, and included a champagne reception, three-course meal, photographs, auction and a band.
Ali's Dream was created by Alison Phelan's family after the loss of Alison to a brain tumour. She was diagnosed in August 2000, but died in June 2001, before her eighth birthday.
All money raised will contribute towards research into childhood brain tumours.
Organiser, Sue Farrington Smith, trustee of Ali's Dream, said: "We had a wonderful evening and raised a fantastic amount thanks to the generosity of the sponsors, guests and those who bid for our auction items."
