  • SATURDAY, AUGUST 16
  • CHACKMORE, Flower Show in Radclive-cum-Chackmore Parish Hall from 2.30pm.

  • GRANBOROUGH, English Summer Fayre in the village hall and grounds starting at 2.30pm.

  • FRINGFORD, Opera Della Luna presents A Sparkling Summer Serenade at 7pm at The Old Bakehouse, tickets £30, 01869 277254/277161.

  • MAIDS MORETON, BTCV Woodland Giants event from 10am to noon, discover the tales of ancient giants, meet outside the ATC Centre on Stratford Road, details 01296 330033.

  • BUCKINGHAM, BTCV Underwater Safari & Dragonflies, discover minibeasts that lurk in the pond at the Railway Walk from 11am to 12.30pm, meet in the University of Buckingham car park, details 07801 686027.

  • AKELEY, Tea, coffee and cakes in the village hall from 2.30pm to 4pm, book sale, proceeds to Macmillan Cancer Support.
