A YOUNG entrepreneur with an outstanding business idea has the chance to win a full-fee scholarship for an honours degree at the University of Buckingham.
The winner of the competition will be enrolled onto the BSC Business Enterprise course which involves starting and running their own business.
The competition is designed to find a young person who would not otherwise be able to afford to study at the university and start their own business.
The property investment and development firm SEGRO Plc has provided the funding worth over £16,000 for the competition.
To win the scholarship the applicant must prepare and submit their business plan to the University of Buckingham Business School by Friday, October, 31.
On Wednesday, November 19, six selected finalists will each "pitch" their proposals to "Buckingham Angels", a venture capital panel, in front of an audience of school students.
The winner of the competition can begin their studies from the end of January 2009 or January 2010.
