Hire firm aims to cut fuel bills

TARGET Vehicle Hire says it can slash fuel bills by up to 20% with a new driver monitoring system.
The regional firm, which has a site in Churchill Road, Bicester, is now offering free three-month trials of its monitoring systems to certain customers.

The system uses satellite tracking to ensure drivers are safe and using the most efficient routes, and can produce automatic timesheets.

Managers can then access reports via a secure online service.

Target Vehicle Hire says industry research suggests tracking systems can significantly reduce fuel costs, overtime and accidents.
