THE Puzzle Pre-school in Middle Claydon opened a new play and sensory room for young children with autism.
The pre-school received a £6,950 grant from the Big Lottery Awards for All to fund their project.

The new sensory room has safety wall and floor surfaces and includes a ball pool, musical touch pads and lighting equipment.

John Bercow, MP for Buckingham and Winslow, was there to open the new room, along with all the children who go to the nursery. They were joined by supporters of the charity from a number of clubs, including the Winslow Lions.

Head of the nursery, Lesley-Ann Martin, said: "This is an excellent facility for our children. The room is multi-functional and enables us to meet a wide range of children's needs".

Puzzle Pre-School provides support and courses for parents, as well as a nursery for children with autism.
