ONE of Bicester's longest-running hairdressers has been relaunched following a major makeover.
One Step Ahead, based in Bicester for more than 30 years, closed its listed Sheep Street premises around three months ago to carry out essential structural work.

Owner Terry Webber and his wife Mikki took the opportunity to give the shop a new look inside and out, and were joined at the relaunch party by Bicester Town Mayor Cllr Pauline Liddington.

Mr Webber said the unisex salon had installed a new suite of equipment, including new mirrors and furniture, as part of the revamp, but had kept the popular old fireplace.

"It's all been completely redone and it looks fantastic," he said, adding, "We've gone for a non-clinical look inside, it's almost like a nice sitting room."

Mr Webber said he looked forward to welcoming his many past clients at the new-look salon.

Contact staff on 01869 241272 for appointments and more information. Chairs are also available for independent stylists.
