A WATER hygiene firm from Upper Heyford has floated on London's PLUS stock exchange.
Zeta Compliance Group, based in Heyford Park, produces mobile and web technology allowing hospitals, universities and other large estates to monitor and manage infection control strategies for bugs such as MRSA and Legionnaires' Disease.

As well as boosting the profile of Zeta, floating on PLUS will help improve the company's ability to raise funding for expansion as well as enhancing its power to attract high-quality directors and staff.

Chairman John Caines said: "PLUS is central to our strategy of acquiring other service companies in the water and air hygiene businesses.

"Our goal is to develop the business over the long term, ensuring it is principally owned by the people working in it."

The group has contracts to manage water system hygiene for NHS trusts, universities, banks, local authorities and hoteliers, enabling them to comply with UK and EU environmental, health and safety legislation.

In addition to an impressive list of blue-chip contracts in the UK, Zeta has clients in the US and Europe as well as an associate company in South Carolina.

CEO Rob Nicoll said: "Since floating on PLUS trading has continued to build upon the success of last year and look forward to delivering ever better solutions to our clients via the web in the future".

PLUS is a relatively new stock exchange for small and medium-sized companies.
