A LUCKY school pupil can win a £16,000 scholarship with the University of Buckingham in a 'Dragons' Den'-style competition in November.
As part of a Buckingham Enterprise Day on Wednesday, November 19, the University of Buckingham will host its own version of the popular BBC series Dragons' Den, featuring the 'Buckingham Angels' venture capital panel.

School pupils from all over t
he country are invited to give lively presentations of their business plans, and the winner will be awarded a two-year scholarship to study for a BSc Business Enterprise degree worth more than £16,000.

The winner will be able to start their degree in either January 2009 or January 2010.

The scholarship is designed to encourage budding entrepreneurs to get involved in higher education, as well as enabling a student whose parents may not be able to afford university fees to achieve an honours degree in just two years.

Students taking the University of Buckingham's BSc Business Enterprise degree get the opportunity to start their own business as part of the course.

Contact the University of Buckingham's BSc Business Enterprise programme director Nigel Adams on 01280 820226, or email nigel.adams@buckingham.ac.uk for details.
