A SWIMMING class for children up to the age of four has won a special award.
Water Babies, which runs classes at the Best Western Hotel in Buckingham, won the best swimming class category at the What's On 4 Little Ones awards earlier this month.

The company also came second in the best baby development category.
The awards covered 20 different categories including best antenatal class and best messy play class and split into national, local and special awards.

Tamsin Brewis from Water Babies, said: "We were really pleased to be nominated and highly delighted to have won such a prestigious award. Our thanks have to go to our parents for their nominations and for their support.

"Without them, we would not be able to provide such a rewarding service which has such beneficial outcomes."

Water Babies involves planning structured activities within classes, which progress from lesson to lesson and parents are encouraged to join in. More information is available at www.waterbabies.co.uk.
