Brews-up at garden centre to raise cash for Macmillan

Bicester Avenue Garden Centre will give away free brews as part of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning next Friday, September 28.

Customers will be asked to donate to Macmillan Cancer Support in return cups of tea and coffee.

The fundraiser will run from 9am to noon.

Macmillan Cancer Support spokesman Charles Byrne said: “We are very grateful for the support from Bicester Avenue Garden Centre.

“There are more than two million people in the UK living with cancer and every penny we raise will help us reach out to even more people who need our support.”

Garden centre manager Adrian Drake said: “We hope lots of people come along to the event and help us support this worthy cause.”

The Bohemian Beauty salon in Deans Court in Bicester will also host an event as part of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning next Friday.

Hot drinks and cakes will be on offer from 10am to noon.
