Decision due over Bicester Winners site

VICTORIA ROAD: A decision is due to be taken this week over plans for a 60-bed care home at the former Winners Bargain Centre site in Bicester.

Plans for the care home were put on public display inside the former Winners store in October.

The plans could create up to 80 full and part-time jobs.

Cherwell District Council’s planning committee is due to make a decision on Thursday afternoon. Bicester Town Council has objected strongly to the plans, with concerns over parking and location.
