editorial image

BICESTER: Neighbourhood police officers will give away free purse coils and cat bells as part of a crime prevention day in Sheep Street this Friday, October 19.

Members of the public are invited to come along between 9am and 2pm to meet their local officers and pick up the anti-theft devices.

Cat bells, when attached to purses and wallets, are designed to draw attention to would-be thieves.

The event will be the second crime prevention day to be held in Bicester this year.
