Help available at SPD workshop in Bicester

ST EDBURG’S Church in Bicester will host an awareness-raising workshop for adults and children with the neurological condition Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) on Tuesday, January 31.

SPD stops the brain properly interpreting and balancing signals from the senses. Children can be over-sensitive or under-sensitive to certain senses, and can be helped with therapy.

The free session starts at 7.45pm, and is open to all parents, carers, teachers and health professionals. The event will include a presentation and refreshments.
