Scrooge boosts charity’s funds

CHARITY SHOW SUCCESS: Buckingham man Chris Birch smashed his £2,000 target and has so far raised £3,202 for Parkinson’s UK from his one-man performances of A Christmas Carol in December.

Mr Birch, who performed the solo show for two nights at Buckingham Community Centre, said he wants to thank everyone who helped boost the fund by covering the production costs.

And he told the Advertiser he is already thinking about putting on another show next year.
