St Edburg’s tree festival starts today

CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL: St Edburg’s Church will host its first Christmas tree festival from this Friday, December 14, to this Sunday, December 16.

Visitors can explore a forest of decorated trees and enjoy live music and refreshments. The event will close with a Songs of Praise carol service on Sunday evening.

Opening times are from 10am to 6.30pm tomorrow, Friday, and on Saturday, and from noon until 6pm on Sunday, when the carol service will begin.

Proceeds will go towards the upkeep of the church building.
