BATS: Bat fans will enjoy a special evening in the gardens at Stowe on Sunday, May 20.

From 8pm, the National Trust will be hosting an evening’s walk and talk with the North Bucks Bat Group to let visitors find out about any nocturnal friends that live in the gardens.

Susan Evans, community and learning officer at Stowe said: “It should be a really batty evening! We know we have several species of bats here at Stowe, and we will be helping visitors to use bat detectors to find any.”

Tickets which cost £10 for adults, and £5 for children should be booked in advance by calling 01280 817156.
