The number of visitors to the Advertiser & Review's national home hunting website propertytoday.co.uk has more than doubled over the last two months.
The success follows the launch of a dedicated advertising campaign aimed at highlighting the site's focus on providing not just thousands of homes for sale, but also detailed local information to help prospective home buyers.

The campaign included TV adverts and outdoor advertising in Yorkshire and the South, and targeted online and press marketing across many other parts of the UK.

Emphasising the slogan 'The Sure Sign of Local Knowledge', the campaign is now resulting in more than 11,000 people visiting the site each day.

Toi Bisatt, Property Today Brand Manager, said: "Property Today has always enjoyed a very high level of trust amongst local estate agents, many of whom have strong relationships with our newspaper business. However, we needed to create the same level of trust amongst website users hence the need for the new campaign.

"We really want more people to be aware of Property Today and see the added value it provides them when it comes to buying their next home. The local information available on the site is unparalleled and means they can learn all about an area before even requesting a viewing."
