BE nice to Buckingham!
What might be done to improve Buckingham town centre?
Well, perhaps a start would be the pedestrianisation of Market Hill.

I am tired of moving out of the way of cars driving away from the Post Office etc.

Please forget the idea of a multi-storey car park right in the middle of Buckingham. This is the last thing this town wants and would tear the heart out of the centre of the town with lines of cars trying to get in and out – that's when it's not flooded.

The existing car park is in keeping the town with an adjacent green park space.

Buckingham should take a look at how Tring has taken its town centre forward with traffic calming measures and location of car parks.

Buckingham should concentrate more on its central environment, and tourism aspect to attract custom to its centre.

I would also like to see a proper cycling route alongside the A421 from Buckingham to Milton Keynes.

Continental juggernauts should also be banned from using the A413 Buckingham to Aylesbury route.

This type of heavy traffic has grown with the M1 lane expansion work – lorries using sat nav routes squeezing round tight village bends in Winslow, Whitchurch etc.

Be nice to Buckingham!
