Jazz Matters, the informal gathering that the much-missed Sir John Dankworth founded, returns for a session of nattering on Sunday morning, from 11.30am.

On a Sunday evening, GO! towers draws to a standstill when the opening credits to Antiques Roadshow starts up.

We can’t get enough of it, and actually, our estimations are more often than not, close to spot on.

We’ll have some way to go before we can soak up all the knowledge these guys have though – Hilary Kay and Paul Atterbury are two of the show’s best-loved experts and on Sunday evening, they present ‘Have You Had It Long, Madam?’ at the venue.

An insiders view, their delivery will include tales about the show, exploits and behind-the-scenes experiences, and you’ll watch plenty of bloopers too – the kind that aren’t suitable for broadcasting!

Buddy Whittington arrives on Monday evening.

John Mayall decided he was ‘possibly the greatest Bluesbreaker of all,’ and he should know – Mayall employed him for 15 years!

In short, he is a modern Texas bluesmaster.

Jazz trio Phronesis are up on Monday evening, bringing the same hypnotic bass grooves, rhythmic textures and piano perfection that saw them nominated for a MOBO for Best Jazz Act in 2010...

The Zombies need no introduction really – pop legends with a half century of music making under their belts, they aren’t out yet, and only last year issued the superb Breathe Out, Breathe In long-player.

Hue & Cry delivered the goods in the eighties with chart-bothering tracks like Labour of Love and Looking For Linda.

The songwriting survivors are back with yet another new release, delving into New Orleans funk-inspired songs.
