Live music at village venue

The Walnut Tree Inn, at Blisworth, has live music in the bar every Saturday night, and admission is free.

Tomorrow, Saturday, Dirty Monkee are a female-fronted, five-piece cover band from Leicester who cover music from the 1960s to the 2000s.

On December 15, four-piece Northants band Rhythm & Roots perform mainly reggae and some classic soul and Motown songs.

On December 22, Mid Sensation are an exciting six-piece soul and Tamla Motown band that get everyone on their feet.

There’s a Christmas Eve Special with Towcester folk band Rapscallion on Monday, December 24.

And on December 29, five-piece, female-fronted Northants band The Whatevers perform rock and pop classic songs.
