THE Royal British Legion in Thrift Road, Heath & Reach, holds its monthly quiz night tomorrow (Friday) with a wide range of questions and a cash prize for the winners. Teams of up to six maximum are welcome. The entry price includes a sausage and chips supper. Doors open at 7pm with the quiz starting at 8pm sharp

Non members are welcome. Early arrival is recommended to make sure of a table. For more details contact Steve 01525 237923.

On Saturday there’s another great night of live entertainment on when they feature one of the UK’s top ‘60s tribute bands The Cavern Legacy (formerly The Mersey Legends). The band specialises in performing authentic arrangements of the early Mersey Beat era and feature songs from The Beatles, Gerry and the Pacemakers, The Searchers, Billy J Kramer and the Dakotas and many more.
