THERE’S nothing like a dame – and Twyford’s dames clearly can’t wait to get back in gear!

This year, Twyford’s traditional pantomime is being replaced with a variety show. ‘Live’ @ Twyford Village Hall is a variety show combining dance, drama, comedy and song, performed by the Twyford Amateur Dramatic Society.

Items include a play entitled HS1.9 – an eye-opening, satiric look at the blight that is affecting Twyford, penned by Phil Foxon.

Also on offer are excerpts from Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, sketches from The Two Ronnies and Victoria Wood, and a performance from Twyford’s past Dames.

Performances are on February 10 and 11, and 17 and 18, with Saturday matinees at 2.30pm.

Tickets £5 adults, £3 children.
