Band will get venue rocking

Rockin'Em

Rockin'Em

The Royal British Legion in Thrift Road, Heath & Reach present an evening of live rock ‘n’ roll on Saturday when the featured band are ‘Rockin ’em.

They’re an exciting three-piece 1950’s style rock ‘n roll band who are sure to stir up nostalgic memories – even if you are not old enough to remember that far back!

Although a relatively new band these guys will have you jiving and bopping and having a ball. They play anything from raunchy rockabilly to rock ‘n’ roll classics and beautiful ballads. The band consists of Kev on lead vocals and guitar, Simon on drums and backing vocals and at only 14 years old an amazing double bass player Dion, who has appeared on stage with other top bands including The Jets and Mark Keeley’s Good Rockin’ Tonight. The event also features rock’n’ roll DJ The Tartan Ted. Entrance is payable on the door. Doors open at 7.30pm and non members are welcome. For more details call Steve on 01525 237923.
