SYRESHAM: Fun quiz in the village hall, at 7.30pm, in aid of Diabetes UK, teams of four to six invited to take part, entrance fee £2.50 per person, bring your own drink and nibbles, but tea and coffee will be served during the interval.

BUCKINGHAM: Bourton Meadow Academy Christmas Fayre, 1pm to 4pm, Santa’s grotto, mulled wine, craft stalls, school choir, mountain dogs, £1.50 adults, children free, all funds to the school.

BUCKINGHAM: The Kings Head, live music with Stone Cold Mary, 9pm to 1am.

BICESTER: Jack and Jill Pre-school annual Christmas fayre, 2pm to 4pm, West Bicester Community Centre, raffle, money raised will go to pre-school garden project.

Sunday, December 2

BUCKINGHAM: Visit Father Christmas at Buckingham Old Gaol between 10.30am and 3.30pm, £3 per child includes a gift, accompanying adults free. Christmas robin competition December 2 to 31, £1 plus usual admission charge, 01280 823020.

BRACKLEY: James Hornsby will be appearing with Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, at 7.30pm. Tickets at £6.50 are available from Brackley Library, Manor Road. Wine and mince pies during the interval, further information from 0300 1261000 or email Braclib@northamptonshire.gov.uk
