Former mayor should be rewarded for work

I was surprised and disappointed to learn of Caryl Billingham’s resignation from Brackley Town Council.

Having served Brackley for four decades, Gavin Moore’s detailed report in last week’s Advertiser made it clear that Caryl Billingham has long been Brackley’s First Lady.

I hope to hear later this year, that Caryl Billingham is to be appropriately recognised for her long-serving commitment and determined hard work on behalf of her town and its community.

Mike Langlois, Roman Way, Brackley
