STREET dancing and food from around the world are just two of the activities children in Towcester can enjoy during half term.
Lisa Bolton, director of the Vision Youth Cafe in Islington Road said: “We will be open through-out half term offering the young people of Towcester and the surrounding area somewhere to go and something to do, with a different activity each day provided free of charge.”
On Monday children can learn to tie-dye during a day of craft; on Tuesday they can learn to grow their own along with the history and benefits of herbs, on Wednesday there will be street dance tutorials and a chance to show off skills on a games console, on Thursday there will be sports and team building exercises, and on Friday children can experience different tastes from around the world.
The week will finish with a celebration even on Friday between 5pm and 7pm. The youth cafe will be open from 10am to 4pm all week.
