AUTHOR Malcolm Deacon will present his new biography of Sir Christopher Hatton at a meeting of Brackley History Society on Wednesday, August 6.
Sir Christopher, a confidant of Elizabeth I, was owner of Kirby Hall and Holdenby Hall in Northants.

Mr Deacon's talk will start at 7.30pm.

Meetings are held in the Methodist Church in Brackley High Street.
Non-members' entry is £2.
