THE Padbury-based charity Ali's Dream will be holding a fundraising ball at Buckingham's Old Town Hall on Saturday, June 13.
Guests will be welcomed by a champagne reception followed by a three-course meal, entertainment, a tombola and dancing until 1am.

Ali's Dream was launched in June 2001 in memory of Alison Phelan who died three weeks before her eighth birthday after developing a brain tumour.

Concerned by the lack of funding for research into childhood brain tumours, Alison's family and friends – including her aunt, Sue Harrington-Smith – set up the charity to raise funds for research into the disease.

Mrs Farrington-Smith said: "I always look forward to the Ali's Dream Ball, it's my favourite event of the year and everyone who came last year had a great time so I'm expecting many of them back again this year."

There are 10 seats per table and tickets cost £50 per person. For information or to purchase tickets, call 01296 730230.
