Visitors can follow in the footsteps of author Flora Thompson with a guided tour of the Fringford area next Saturday, June 13.
Local historian Martin Greenwood will lead guided tours around the village, which helped inspire the fictional settlement of Candleford Green in Flora Thompson's Lark Rise to Candleford trilogy.
Tours set off from Fringford Village Hall at 2pm and 4pm, and tickets are £2 for adults. Refreshments and a photographic exhibition can be enjoyed in the village hall. Visit www.fringford.info for more information.
