RICHARD Ashcroft will play a one-off solo gig at a brand new music festival at Stowe House in August.
The Verve frontman will join a line-up of top acts including Athlete, Supergrass, The Rascals, Fun Lovin' Criminals, Black Kids, Young Knives and Royworld at The Last Days of Summer festival on Bank Holiday Monday, August 25.

Organiser Ciaran Kenn
edy, of Towcester-based Toast Events, said: "News that Richard Ashcroft will play his only solo UK gig at The Last Days of Summer Festival makes it one of the season's must-attend music events.

"He will be joined by Supergrass, who always put on a brilliant show, and, in Black Kids, The Rascals and the like, some of the most exciting new music coming out of both sides of the Atlantic.

"On one stage for one day, we've worked to create a superb, international line-up in one of the most beautiful parts of the country."

Three of the bands - Black Kids, Young Knives and The Rascals - were among the fans' favourites at the recent Glastonbury Festival.

The event car park opens at 10.30am, and gates open at midday. Music starts at 1.30pm and finishes at 11pm. Further details, such as performance timings, will be available closer to the event.

Tickets are £39.50, plus booking fee, and are available from www.seetickets.com or the box office on 0871 2200260. VIP tickets are also available.
